Daisy Shah in Jai Ho

Daisy Shah (Gujarati: દેઈસી શાહ) (born in Mumbai) is an Indian film actress, model and dancer/choreographer.
Shah made her acting debut as a special appearance guest in the 2010 bilingual action thriller Vandae Maatharam, but her first breakthrough came when she was roped to play the lead role in the 2011 Kannada film Bodyguard, opposite Jaggesh. Shah received worldwide fame after playing co-star to Salman Khan in the 2014 Bollywood film Jai Ho.
Early Life:
Daisy Shah was born in Mumbai, in a Gujarati family. Her father worked as a floor manager in a clothing mill in Dombivli. She has won the Miss Photogenic title in the Ms Dombivli contest in a local mall when she was in 10th grade. She is an BA graduate from Mumbai's Khalsa College. A model and choreographer turned actress, Shah has various Tamil and Kannada films to her credit. Although Shah has claimed her birthday is 25 August, her exact year of birth is yet unknown.
Career:
She has worked as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya for 3 years.[5] She started off doing item numbers in films like Vandae Maatharam before she got a break in the Kannada Film Industry, where she played the female lead opposite actor Jaggesh in the bilingual hit film Bodyguard. Later she appeared in Kannada films like Bhadra and Gajendra while also appearing as an Item girl in Bachchan and Bloody Isshq, before getting a big break to play Salman Khan's ladylove in Sohail Khan's Jai Ho, a remake of the Telugu film Stalin.
